About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care within our Outpatient department.
  • Provide prescribed nursing care without direct supervision.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of nursing practice.
  • Act in accordance with the NMC (UKCC) Professional Code of Conduct.
  • Support a clinical environment that is patient and public focused.
  • Assist the Team Leader with managing a patient caseload.
  • Develop an environment that supports the value of nursing care within the T&O setting.
  • Liaise and communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Commit to assuring the quality of care delivered.
  • Stay aware of and demonstrate practice based on current advances in nursing.
  • Act as an advocate for patients and their significant others.
  • Maintain accurate records and standards for documentation.
  • Participate in the formal monitoring of standards.
