We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Landscape Avenue. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team to complete grounds maintenance at local schools and commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team to complete grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, hedge cutting, sports line-marking, border maintenance, winter gritting, and leaf clearance.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure all sites are well-maintained and looking their best.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve company goals.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year's grounds maintenance experience.
- UK driving licence.
- DBS check certificate.
- Basic understanding of mobile phone technology to ensure work activity is properly recorded.
