Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Landscape Avenue. As a key member of our outdoor operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team to complete grounds maintenance at local schools and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team to complete grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, hedge cutting, sports line-marking, border maintenance, winter gritting, and leaf clearance.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure all sites are well-maintained and looking their best.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve company goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year's grounds maintenance experience.
  • UK driving licence.
  • DBS check certificate.
  • Basic understanding of mobile phone technology to ensure work activity is properly recorded.
