Senior Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and breakdown support to our hospital cluster.
Key Responsibilities- Provide competent technical, health, safety, and environmental support and assistance to Engineering Directors and local Hospital Managers, Project Managers, and/or Minor Works Managers.
- Assist Engineering Technicians and Engineering Assistants in carrying out their roles at all sites within the cluster.
- Liaise with Hospital Operations Manager to support and advise on appropriate engineering cover on all cluster sites to meet SLA and on-call requirements.
- Liaise with all Engineering sub-contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently, effectively, and safely, and adequate records are retained on each site.

- Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at an appropriate level of qualification. If electrically qualified, a current Electro-technical Certification Scheme (ECS) Card is required.
- Up-to-date proof of qualifications is required.
- City & Guilds Part 3, HNC, NVQ Level 4, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
- A time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
- Understanding of Quality Management, customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement process is desirable.
- Dual or multi-skilled with core skills, preferably Electrical, is desirable.
- Management experience is required.
- Willingness to travel between 2 sites is required.
- Mechanical/Plumber experience would be advantageous.
- 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service.
