About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at KYN. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and delivering consistent, high-quality dishes for our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the delivery of consistent, high-quality dishes for our residents and their families
  • Take full responsibility of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and maintain high standards
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in line with KYN's exceptional standards
  • Monitor health and safety, compliance, and procedures to ensure standards are maintained in both the kitchen and dining teams
  • Support the teams in understanding the menu and ingredients so they can articulate this effectively to our residents, their family members, and guests
About You

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record of delivering and maintaining kitchen standards at the highest level. You will have strong communication and influencing skills, an approachable manner, and an eye for detail. You will be passionate and have the ability to drive standards that not only meet but exceed expectations and elevate the lives of our residents.
