Specialist Sports Ltd is a leading sporting goods agency that pushes the boundaries of innovation in performance sports. As a Product Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the creation process of market-leading products that exceed customer expectations.

The successful candidate will lead the development process of Specialist Sports' Creation business, responsible for delivering high-quality products that meet business and brand expectations. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop seasonal and long-life cycle products across adidas performance categories, leveraging expertise in apparel, accessories, and hard goods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality and delivery targets.
  • Own the critical pathway for development and facilitate operational meetings with key stakeholders as required.
  • Provide final sign-off on production standards and sealed samples to ensure quality, fit, and costing expectations are met.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of performance materials and embellishment solutions to drive innovation and desirability.
  • Ensure development, sampling, and production deadlines are adhered to and manage product costings to attain commercial targets.
  • Lead the creation development and creation process to optimize commercial performance, innovation, and functionality.

The role will be primarily office-based at Nursling Industrial Estate, Southampton, with national/international travel expected.
