Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our Specialist Sports Creation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development process of seasonal and long-life cycle products across adidas performance categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop seasonal and long-life cycle products across adidas performance categories
  • Manage and lead the creation of licensed ranges for professional sports clubs
  • Take category briefs and generate product briefs, driving the process from inception through to buy-ready
  • Support all areas of product development to achieve quality and delivery in line with business and brand expectations
  • Own the critical pathway for development and hold operational meetings with key stakeholders
  • Provide final sign-off on production standards and sealed samples
  • Demonstrate knowledge of performance materials and embellishment solutions
  • Support on all sourcing topics, understanding market requirements and factory capabilities
  • Ensure development, sampling, and production deadlines are adhered to and manage product costings to attain commercial targets

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience and qualifications
  • Enthusiastic professional approach and personal affinity with sports
  • Self-driven and excited about playing a pivotal role in this exciting phase for the company

Working hours may be varied depending on the requirements of the role. The successful candidate will be primarily office-based at Nursling Industrial Estate, Southampton, with national/international travel expected.
