About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Gleeson Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in finance within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring accuracy in cash transactions
  • Maintain the purchase and sales ledger
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc financial reporting tasks
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar accounts assistant role, with a focus on bank reconciliations
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards solving problems
