About the Role

Careline Administrator

This role is part of our dedicated Careline team, responsible for delivering high-quality administration, including customer-focused support and working closely with case managers and team leaders to provide a streamlined service.

We are passionate about ensuring that everyone who requires rehabilitation in the UK has access to quality, effective, co-ordinated services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming communications, scanning and directing to the relevant person.
  • Manage referrals to the network.
  • Provide relevant administration to support case management.
  • Investigate invoice or network queries.
  • Manage reimbursements in accordance with scheme rules and benefits.
  • Chase clinical information in a timely manner, demonstrating professionalism and assertiveness.
  • Complete additional tasks requested by management.
  • Demonstrate a professional and respectful approach during all interactions.
  • Monitor dashboards and assist team leaders in workload allocation and task management.
Essential Skills

Skills, knowledge and expertise

  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative role, preferably within healthcare.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data protection requirements, including the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • "Can-do" attitude when dealing with customer calls.
  • Comfortable challenging aspects of the role to improve efficiency.
  • Confident, precise and helpful when dealing with customer complaints.
  • High level of accuracy with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop a robust working knowledge of day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
