Academy Construction Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team in the Retford/Mansfield area. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Senior Site Manager and be responsible for leading and directing the site team to coordinate the safe management of all operational activities on all projects. Your role will ensure that HSQE, programme, and budget requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population and the travelling public as a whole.
  2. Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team as appropriate.
  3. Achieve cost-conscious management through efficient use of all resources.
  4. Prepare, review, and update realistic scheme programmes.
  5. Develop, review, brief, and update method statements and risk assessments.
  6. Provide all as-constructed records to the CDMC for inclusion within the Health and Safety File in a timely manner following scheme completion.
  7. Attend all training associated with Site management duties, including appointed person, temporary works, etc., as required.
About the Candidate:
  1. Recognised Civil Engineering/Site Management Qualifications.
  2. Health, Safety, and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate).
  3. CSCS Site Manager (Min).
  4. First Aid at Work.
  5. Experience in the Water/Waste Water Treatment Industry.
  6. Experience in deep excavation and civils construction.
