Behaviour Specialist Professional

We are seeking a Behaviour Specialist to support students with mild ASD at Remedy Education.
- Provide individualised supervision and support to a child with mild ASD.
- Collaborate in the development of educational resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies.
- Offer regular feedback to teachers on the child's progress and needs.
- Attend to children's personal requirements, encompassing social, health, physical, first aid, and welfare matters.
- Contribute to a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
- Undertake structured learning activities, adjusting as needed to achieve learning goals.
- Assist with supervising children outside lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty.
- Establish good relationships with children, acting as a role model.
- Promote inclusion and acceptance, supporting diversity and ensuring equal access to opportunities.
- Support children's learning and development in areas like literacy, numeracy, and Key Stage subjects.
- Encourage children to interact with others and engage in activities.
- Prepare and clear the classroom, assist with displaying children's work.
- Maintain equipment and resources, supporting children in their use.
- Keep records and establish positive relationships with parents/carers.
- Provide administrative support.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Based on experience and qualifications, the estimated salary for this position is $70,000 per year.
