The Role

Job Title: Payroll Specialist - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £48,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: London

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to support the wider Payroll Team in running the payroll process. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately checking and reconciling payroll changes, preparing payroll processes, and monitoring the Payroll inbox.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Team in processing payroll changes for new joiners and leavers
  • Reconcile payroll changes and ensure accuracy
  • Prepare payroll processes in accordance with company absence schemes
  • Monitor the Payroll inbox and respond to queries from stakeholders
  • Perform extensive reconciliations of spreadsheets
  • Produce P45 and P60 documents as required

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience in Payroll within a large corporate environment
  • Demonstrable experience of manual payroll calculations
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE forms, Pension enrolments, and Statutory Deductions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
