Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in managing multiple projects and leading a team of engineers and technicians. The role involves working closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical structural solutions.

Key Tasks
  • Manage project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery.
  • Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for a variety of building types.
  • Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and risk evaluations for new and existing structures.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, project briefings, and on-site discussions.
  • Support business development by preparing technical proposals and contributing to client pitches.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, structural analysis, and design.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards, including CDM Regulations.
  • Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer status (CEng).
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality results.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000-£52,000 per annum, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including pension contributions and professional development support, is also offered.
