We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team at Henderson Scott in Cheltenham. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our eDV Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java-based applications using Spring Boot and JEE containers.
  • Work with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using Java and relevant frameworks.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Java with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
  • Comfortable working with AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
  • 2+ years of commercial experience in Java development.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and Angular/React is highly beneficial.
