Job Title: Procurement Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Age UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, overseeing RFQ and tender activities, and onboarding new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Age UK's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee RFQ and tender activities, working closely with our Procurement as a Service provider.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a procurement-related position.
  • Experience of involvement in procurement processes and procedures such as Request For Quote, Request For Proposal, and Invitation To Tender.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programmes (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze and accurately interpret and report on financial and commercial data.
  • Understanding of supplier contracting and onboarding processes.
  • Working knowledge of principles of negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration.
