About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to join our team in the European and African region. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the technical uptime of our Uncrewed Service Vessels (USVs) and electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small site-based team for project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, vessel and equipment maintenance, and technical fault finding.
  • Work hands-on with the remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.
  • Work in a stable rotation at project sites maintaining and servicing the vessel, onboard eROV systems, launch and recovery equipment, and vessel-mounted survey sensors.
  • Provide daily progress reports on QHSE and operational performance to clients and internal project management teams.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a senior technical management role, such as ROV Superintendent, Geophysical Technical Coordinator, Chief Engineer, Party Chief, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution, survey equipment, ROV systems, and marine engineering.
  • Experience of logistical project mobilisations, operating planned maintenance systems, operating fault logging systems, and operating QHSE systems.
  • Ability to work shift patterns up to 4 weeks in length on sites across Europe and Africa.
