A Production Database Team Leader, who will help drive team efforts to deliver software solutions and automate database processes.

The bet365 production database automation team is responsible for developing and supporting custom-built solutions using innovative technologies such as C#, Blazor, Ansible, Jenkins, Powershell, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Spanner.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Providing clear direction, mentorship and guidance to a team of highly skilled professionals.
  2. Fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and continuous learning and improvement.
  3. Setting performance expectations and identify growth opportunities within the team.
  4. Overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  5. Ensuring timely provision of agreed deliverables throughout the software development life cycle.
  6. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, identifying automation opportunities.
  7. Analysing the impact of change.
  8. Distributing knowledge and mentoring team members.

Preferred Skills

  • Good understanding of database technologies, in particular SQL Server.
