About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Product Liaison to join our team at FatFace. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with Talon International, our sole nominated trim and zipper supplier.

Job Description

The role will involve serving as an intermediary between FatFace and Talon International, providing technical support and ensuring seamless product development and quality control processes. You will be responsible for managing the physical sample library, product development briefs, and internal procedures at Talon. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the FatFace design and compliance teams, ensure all new developments meet sustainability standards, and work closely with the offshore customer service team to resolve queries and issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Talon/FatFace physical sample library
  • Manage new product development briefs and work with FatFace to ensure effective management and critical path timings
  • Ensure Talon's internal product development procedures and systems are properly managed and adhered to
  • Provide technical support to the FatFace design and compliance teams
  • Work closely with the offshore customer service team to resolve queries and issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An excellent understanding of both Talon's and FatFace's way of working
  • Detailed knowledge of Talon's full product offering and FatFace Trim manuals
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Talon's new innovations
  • Good technical understanding of all of Talon's products
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-manage workload and priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure
Working Arrangements

This is a part-time permanent role, approximately 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly and have good time management skills.

Reporting Line

You will report directly to Talon's Director of Sales and Customer Relations.

Estimated Salary Range

£40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
