We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN School in Merton. As a SEND Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting students during lesson time and social time, helping them with their schoolwork, to achieve their individual goals as well as lifeskills lessons.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with SEND students, a Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification, and experience in a UK school. They will also be able to manage challenging behaviors and have patience to understand and support students.

**Job Description:**

  1. Support students during lesson time and social time
  2. Help students with their schoolwork and achieve individual goals
  3. Deliver lifeskills lessons

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience working with SEND students
  • Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification
  • Experience in a UK school
  • Able to manage challenging behaviors and have patience to understand and support students
  • Safeguarding qualification or willing to complete a course provided for free by our company
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one through us
  • Any extra qualifications within Education and SEND desirable
  • Local to the area or can commute
