About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare various areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, corridors, and public areas, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all cleaning equipment is in good working order and report any issues to the relevant team members.
  • Inventory Management: Check stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any discrepancies to the relevant team members.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report any incidents or near misses to the relevant team members and ensure that all infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, as required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
