Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Apprentice (Level 3) to join our team at Public Sector Resourcing.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical systems to engineering drawings, installing mechanical systems and assemblies on beamlines and instruments in a scientific environment, and maintaining and repairing these installed systems.
- They will work closely with engineers, scientists, and visiting users of our facility to find solutions to mechanical challenges and problems, ensuring the safety of others in a Scientific and Engineering environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with NVQ level 3 or similar, along with relevant experience.
- Experience working in an assembly environment is essential.
- A sound understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including workshop practice and safe work practices.
Working Arrangements:
This role requires working within the UK only, without any overseas assignments. The salary for this position is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
