We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join our client's team in the UK, working on a variety of high-profile projects across the country.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience in a similar environment and will be responsible for delivering successful projects, working closely with the existing team to provide technical support and expertise in highways, drainage and infrastructure design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of highway planning procedures, including Section 38/278 Agreements, UK design principles and standards, as well as familiarity with drainage adoption procedures, including section 106/104, UK Design principles/best practice and standards.

The position offers an excellent opportunity for a Technician/Senior Technician seeking to develop their career and take on new engineering challenges, right at the heart of a growing, talented, friendly and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver successful projects, working closely with the existing team
  • Provide technical support and expertise in highways, drainage and infrastructure design
  • Prepare, review and issue design drawings
  • Liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
Requirements:
  • Hold an HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of highway planning procedures, including Section 38/278 Agreements, UK design principles and standards
  • Familiarity with drainage adoption procedures, including section 106/104, UK Design principles/best practice and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
