**Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Position:** Join our team at Pulse Healthcare and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine Procedures: Conduct PET-CT scans and other nuclear medicine imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Patient Preparation and Care: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Radiopharmaceutical Handling: Safely handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Image Acquisition and Quality Control: Operate imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images, and perform quality control checks to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate patient records, document procedures, and assist in the preparation of diagnostic reports.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Certification: Registered or Classified through The Register of Clinical Technologists (the RCT) or the HCPC
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in PET-CT and nuclear medicine imaging.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of PET-CT imaging techniques, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety protocols.

Annual Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
