Job Title: Software Architect

Consunet Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team. As a Software Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing technical solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of technical solutions and guide their implementation.
  • Collaborate with clients, external organisations, and internal engineering disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Identify and remove technical roadblocks across the organisation to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Provide input on coding and design best practices.
  • Lead and drive internal projects to improve technical methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of our engineering discipline.
  • Ensure engineering teams have the necessary tools and software to perform their duties effectively.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar).
  • Broad understanding of technologies in the developer ecosystem, including IDEs, developer frameworks, and multiple language stacks.
  • Good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment.
  • Understanding of DevOps philosophy, practices, tools, and ways of securing DevOps processes (e.g., DevSecOps or Rugged DevOps).
  • Proficiency in automation tools, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration-as-code.
  • Knowledge of databases, containers, container orchestration, and container hardening.
