About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Specialist to lead our safeguarding efforts at West London NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in delivering the safeguarding agenda to ensure that the trust meets its responsibilities to safeguard/protect children and young people.

With a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, you will work closely with the Named Nurse Safeguarding Children and Young People to lead the strategic delivery of the safeguarding children's agenda across the trust. You will also be part of the overall Trust Wide Safeguarding Team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills in child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as experience in teaching and training. They will be able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training and have a wide range of specialist and subspecialist experience relevant to the post within the NHS or comparable service.

Main Duties
  • To provide strategic leadership in delivering the safeguarding agenda to ensure that the trust meets its responsibilities to safeguard/protect children and young people.
  • To work with the Named Nurse Safeguarding Children and Young People to lead the strategic delivery of the safeguarding children's agenda across the trust.
  • To be part of the overall Trust Wide Safeguarding Team.

Salary

The salary for this role is £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
