Gastroenterology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Consultant in Gastroenterology, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our intestinal failure service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with complex nutritional needs and intestinal failure
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our intestinal failure service
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to patients
- Participate in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students
- Contribute to research and audit activities within the department
We are looking for a candidate with:
- High-level clinical experience and competence in gastroenterology
- Expertise in managing patients with complex nutritional needs and intestinal failure
- Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Gastroenterology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
