Job Title: MET Technician

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Clear Automotive. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles, ensuring that stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims/panels/components on vehicles
  • Ensure stripping and rebuilding work is carried out in a professional and correct manner
  • Dismantling vehicles ready for panel area
  • Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnostic work
  • Ordering replacement parts
  • Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
  • Stripping and fitting components, bodywork and trim elements
  • All MET duties required within your remit
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-accident condition
  • Fault finding/diagnostics
  • Ensure all jobs are completed within estimated times
Requirements:
  • ATA, NVQ 3 or IMI 3 qualifications
  • Experience in accident repair and vehicle body repair
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
