We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Analytics Developer to join our team, responsible for designing and delivering financial models that inform executive decision-making across finance. The role offers a wide variety of opportunities for the right person, focusing on the development and maintenance of financial planning models and reporting using the IBM Planning Analytics suite.

You will be designing and delivering financial models that will drive quality strategic discussions and ensure the right business decisions are made at the right time. Day-to-day, you will be working closely with customers to find new ways to improve the efficiency and impact of our modelling capability, managing and implementing robust processes and deliverables aligned to short- and medium-term business objectives, and establishing and building relationships with stakeholders to support the provision of quality and timely information, solutions and analysis to inform business decisions.

What you'll need

  • A proven track record of delivery in IBM Planning Analytics.
  • Product level planning and forecasting knowledge.
  • Data and analytics background.
  • Understanding of the financial of the bank, e.g. P&L, Flows, Stock, Margins etc.
  • Experience of agile change environments & delivering change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues, and to senior management.
  • Mathematical and statistical expertise.
  • Financial acumen, modelling and predictive, prescriptive and descriptive analytical experience and track record.
