We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Block Manager to join our dedicated team at Henry Martin Group. As a pivotal member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of residential projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day operations on site, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and to budget.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of site managers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets the company's rigorous standards.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site efficiently and effectively.
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within residential construction, preferably in high-end or luxury housing.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
