About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Director of Corporate Governance at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.

This is a pivotal role that requires a strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance. As Director of Corporate Governance, you will be responsible for ensuring that our governance structures and processes are in place to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance across the Trust.
  • Advise the Board and Executive Directors on governance matters, including policy development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain effective governance frameworks, including the Board Assurance Framework.
  • Lead on the appointment of non-executive directors, executive directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the Trust's corporate affairs are conducted to the highest standards of probity and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
