Join Our Team as a Governance Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Governance Director to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Resilience & Governance Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of strategies, driving projects, and translating compliance, regulatory, or operational risk-related matters into actionable frameworks and practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of strategies and drive projects to improve risk and compliance frameworks
  • Translate operational risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements into actionable frameworks and processes
  • Contribute to improving the risk control framework of Reinsurance Life and Health business
  • Partner with business colleagues and Governance Managers to maintain a robust risk and control framework
  • Advise business on operational resilience, risk, or governance matters and lead or contribute to governance workstreams of key group/BU projects

Requirements:

  • Insurance/reinsurance operational experience of 5 years or more
  • Deep knowledge of three lines of defense concept and experience in operational risk management
  • Experience in leading projects and change initiatives
  • Proficient in storytelling, slide writing, and presentation compilation based on PowerPoint
  • Experience in driving improved use of data to manage risks
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage
