Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage breakdowns and vehicle issues outside of standard working hours
  • Liaise with drivers and fitters to coordinate breakdowns and communicate with customers
  • Coordinate the allocation of road sweepers and sprayers based on operational requirements after serious breakdowns
  • Ensure regular communication to Central Operations Managers and hire desk
  • Support the hire desk with tasks such as uploading orders onto the system accurately and efficiently, pre-assigning sprayer drivers to contracts, and performing administrative tasks
  • Ensure contractual and SLA obligations are met for customers and suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders for the workshop as needed and perform administrative tasks to support suppliers
  • Review the compliance matrix and raise notifications for expiring items via email
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics or transport is ideal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and self-drive
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
  • Confidence in working independently

Working Hours:

This is a night shift only role, working from 9pm to 6am.
