About the Role

Thornton Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our team in Liverpool. As a key member of our Residential Conveyancing team, you will provide essential support to a Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer, assisting with both administrative and legal aspects of conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with conveyancing transactions, ensuring cases progress smoothly from instruction to completion
  • Provide administrative support to the Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer
  • Develop a strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation
  • Utilize conveyancing software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant legal technology
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience in a conveyancing assistant or similar support role
  • A strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant legal technology
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A proactive and resourceful approach with a problem-solving mindset
