About the Role

Thornton Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their team in Liverpool. As a key member of the Residential Conveyancing team, you will provide essential support to a Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer, assisting with administrative and legal aspects of conveyancing transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with conveyancing transactions, ensuring cases progress smoothly from instruction to completion.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, document preparation, and communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality legal services, innovation, and professional integrity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a conveyancing assistant or similar support role within a residential conveyancing department.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legal documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant legal technology.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a problem-solving mindset.
