Role Overview

A KS2 Teacher is sought by one of our schools in Great Harwood, Lancashire to join their team in January 2025. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver inspiring lessons based on the KS2 curriculum, ensuring high standards and expectations for children's achievement.
  • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment, leveraging strong behaviour management skills.
  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants effectively, using assessment strategies to drive student progress.
  • Foster relationships with children, staff, and families, embodying the school's ethos.
Requirements
  • Qualified Class Teacher with experience in Primary Schools, specifically in KS2.
  • Hard-working, organised, and committed to raising standards.
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Ability to set high expectations and manage classroom behaviour.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Remuneration

The salary for this role is £120 - £140 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
