Key Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and attend to their requirements promptly, ensuring a positive and efficient reception experience.
- Obtain and record accurate customer and vehicle information, including a detailed description of work to be carried out.
- Liaise with the Senior Service Advisor/Service Manager to monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop.
- Inform customers of any delays in completion and maintain open communication throughout the process.
- Manage the workshop loading system, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing downtime.
- Prepare and present invoices to customers, both cash and account-based, and receive payment before the vehicle is released.
- Address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
- Ensure accurate recording of warranty information on job cards and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with the Parts Department to ensure timely delivery of parts and maintain effective communication.
- File job cards and other documentation, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets set by the Aftersales Service Manager, working collaboratively with the team to drive business growth.
- Proven experience in the motor trade, with a strong background in customer service and administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Motivation to progress into a more senior role, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to business growth.
- A flexible and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Full driving license and evidence of right to work in the UK.
