About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our global Site Solutions team at Ramboll Group A/S.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments:

  • Carry out site visits to collect relevant data.
  • Prepare factual and interpretative reports detailing findings.

Phase 2 Environmental and Geo-environmental Site Investigations:

  • Scope site investigations and draft proposals and tenders.
  • Plan and supervise environmental and geo-environmental site investigations.
  • Assess and interpret soil and groundwater analytical data.
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and detailed quantitative risk assessments.
  • Write interpretative reports and liaise with clients.

Remediation:

  • Contribute to remediation option appraisals, remediation strategies, and verification reports.
  • Provide remediation oversight.

Project Management:

  • Manage a range of projects with supervision.
  • Take responsibility for project delivery.
  • Guide and train less experienced colleagues.

Requirements:

We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Contaminated land assessment.
  • Property and/or environmental due diligence.
  • Project management of contaminated land assessments and/or multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Environmental and human health risk assessment.
  • Remediation options appraisal and strategy.
  • Demolition, decontamination, and decommissioning.

Deliverables:

  • Safely plan and undertake intrusive site investigations.
  • Write reports efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work with analytical and environmental data.
  • Project manage from inception to interpretative report delivery.

About You: To be successful in this role, you should have an appropriate degree in environmental and geological sciences or a related environmental discipline. Previous experience of planning and supervising environmental and geo-environmental site investigations is essential. You should also have prior experience in project management and delivery of due diligence projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as numeracy skills and experience with IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
