Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:10
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated SENCO to join a school in the BD22 area. This role offers a challenging but rewarding environment where you will play a vital part in ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SEN provision within the school.
  • Oversee and coordinate individualized support for students with special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff to promote inclusive practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in SENCO roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to challenges.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
