Process Engineer

Job Summary:
E3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join a global leading chemical manufacturer in Mirfield, West Yorkshire. As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring asset integrity and driving growth and improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team management, plant operators, and laboratory team to optimize existing plant and equipment, reducing batch times, utility requirements, and downtime.
- Work with the finance team to produce reports on plant performance, including productivity, efficiency, energy usage, and product costings.
- Develop proposals for plant improvement projects and manage these projects from development through to installation, commissioning, and completion.
- Conduct cost estimates, produce justifications, and raise capital/revenue requests for projects.
- Ensure project work is completed without incident, adhering to EUK and industrial standards, on time, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with COMAH and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent in a Chemical/Process Engineering discipline, with a view to becoming chartered if not already.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Chemical/COMAH/High Hazard/Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex problems.
