Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at E3 Recruitment. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring asset integrity and driving growth and improvement across our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the manufacturing team management, plant operators, and laboratory team to optimize existing plant and equipment, reducing batch times, utility requirements, and downtime.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to produce reports on plant performance, including productivity, efficiency, energy usage, and product costings.
  • Develop proposals for plant improvement projects and manage these projects from development through to installation, commissioning, and completion.
  • Conduct cost estimates, produce justifications, and raise capital/revenue requests for projects.
  • Ensure project work is completed on time, to budget, and in compliance with EUK and industrial standards, as well as COMAH and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a Chemical/Process Engineering discipline, with a view to becoming chartered if not already.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Chemical/COMAH/High Hazard/Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex problems.
