About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineering Leader to join our Port and Marine team in Cumbria. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects and working closely with our established team to deliver technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and successfully complete deliverables
  • Review and check technical specifications, reports, and notes to a high standard
  • Mentor staff to achieve technical solutions and provide support for their development
  • Communicate and liaise with other disciplines and clients to ensure clear understanding of scope and deliverables
  • Design structures in the Marine Environment, including quay walls, piers, jetties, and more
  • Lead a team and establish work streams with clients on existing and new contracts
  • Have a good understanding of British Standards, Eurocodes, and best practice in the maritime environment
  • Deliver projects over a range of cost and complexity

Requirements

  • CEng / IEng qualified in civil or structural engineering
  • Ability to obtain SC Clearance
