Job Title: Batch Release Manager

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a highly skilled Batch Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operational Quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products released for sale meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership to a Business Unit aligned Operational Quality team to ensure compliance with cGMP and licensing requirements.
  • Support and coach team members on GMP, documentation errors, root cause analysis, and CAPA for deviations.
  • Liaise with other QA groups to ensure all aspects of testing and results verification are completed before batch release.
  • Manage the Batch Release team, including recruitment, training, competency assessment, resource management, performance reviews, and employee reward and recognition.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive quality and safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Graduate-level education in a scientific discipline.
  • Appropriate level of Quality or Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Knowledge and application of Quality Management System (QMS) principles.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to influence direct reports, peer groups, and senior management.
