About the Role:


We are seeking an exceptional Senior Channel Manager to join our team at OLIVER Agency. As a key member of our social media department, you will work with one of the world's largest drinks companies on their premium and luxury alcohol brands.


This role offers an incredible opportunity to develop your skills and experience in social media management while working on a diverse range of global-level client projects.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Managing all inbound comments with thoughtful responses and escalation procedures
  • Fostering relationships and advocacy within social audiences through community management
  • Strategically monitoring and engaging with relevant content across trending platforms
  • Posting and scheduling all content to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Moderating Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, and other prominent social channels
  • Collaborating with the Social Media Manager to plan monthly content calendars
  • Developing compelling copy to support visual content and enhance brand engagement
  • Participating in creative brainstorming sessions with the Art Director, Social Strategist, and other team members
  • Sourcing and curating relevant User-Generated Content (UGC) for incorporation into monthly calendars
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform updates
  • Supporting the Social Media Manager in maintaining the content and cultural calendar
  • Utilizing tools like Sprinklr, Dragonfly AI, Pencil, and GWI to extract data and drive actionable insights
  • Regularly monitoring social listening to identify opportunities for engagement and thought leadership
  • Building strong relationships with clients through regular meetings and delivering exceptional results
  • Liaising with paid media and C&E agencies to optimize content across all channels
  • Supporting campaign planning initiatives with the Social Media Manager and Social Strategist
  • Ongoing performance optimization and recommendations for organic and paid socials
  • Collaborating with the Social Media Manager on quarterly Performance Comparison Analyses (PCAs)
  • Seeking out and optimizing content aligned with channel updates and trends
  • Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance in social media best practices
  • Developing and implementing crisis management plans for social media
  • Contributing to critical decision-making regarding brand reputation management and escalation protocols
  • Piloting new platforms and creative formats with the Social Media Manager and Social Strategist
  • Overseeing the integration and optimization of organic to paid asset recommendations

Requirements:



  • A proven track record in social media management with a passion for growth and development
  • Excellent written English skills, including punctuation and spelling
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills with a 'measure and optimize' approach to content creation
  • Well-organized with good time management and comfortable handling multiple tasks and projects
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Experience with social listening and management tools
  • A willingness to learn from the best and adapt to new challenges
  • Interest in spirits and alcohol trends is a plus

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
