Salary: £52,000 per annum (including 20% Shift Premium)

Premier Foods is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Manager to join our team in Barnsley. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a variety of manufacturing equipment across site. You will work closely with the engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure maximum utilisation of engineering equipment and achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain manufacturing equipment across site
  • Support the engineering and manufacturing functions
  • Ensure maximum utilisation of engineering equipment
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance

Requirements:

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in engineering
  • Previous experience of automated manufacturing environments
  • Experience of programming, fault finding and repair of Servo or inverter driven systems
  • Practical knowledge of CI tools and techniques
  • A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
