Product Development Role at Arne Clo Ltd

Arne Clo Ltd is a UK-based apparel and footwear brand that designs and develops products in the UK, manufactures in the near and far east, and ships directly to customers via ARNEclo.com. We have recently expanded our reach by partnering with Selfridges, both in-store and online.

We are seeking a skilled Product Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating CADs and design packs that meet our brand's high standards. Your primary focus will be on developing products that excite our target audience and are loved by our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand's aesthetic and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create CADs and design packs that meet our brand's standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of design packs to manufacturers.
  • Communicate effectively with overseas suppliers to ensure smooth product development.
  • Support the organization of our fabric and trim library.
  • Assist in preparing monthly release CAD boards for display.
  • Participate in photoshoot preparation and attend photoshoots as required.
  • Attend weekly design and fit sessions to ensure fit and design intentions are met.
  • Approve lab dips, trims, materials, and prints for finalized products.
  • Contribute to the creation of design strategies, trend overviews, and design collections.
  • Research and contribute to the creation of seasonal collections, focusing on commerciality and new ideas.
  • Complete sourcing packs for fabric, print, and graphics for upcoming seasons.
  • Identify new product opportunities to support business growth and expansion.
Requirements:
  • Relevant fashion design qualification to degree level or similar.
  • Proficient use of Adobe suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) and Excel.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced fashion environment.
