Job Title: Communications and Awareness Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Awareness Manager to join our team at The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that promotes our services and supports our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a communications strategy that aligns with our overall VSS strategy and priorities.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder analysis and engagement plans to build strong relationships with our stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of internal communications plans to engage and inform our staff.
  • Manage our online presence, including our website and social media channels.
  • Prepare and disseminate press statements and responses to media enquiries.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external public relations support providers.
  • Oversee the delivery of engagement events with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A degree-level qualification in Communications, Media, Public Relations, or Marketing.
  • At least three years of experience in communications, media, public relations, or marketing.
  • A current Full UK Driving License with access to a car (or alternative arrangements).
