Risk Data Analyst

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled Risk Data Analyst to join our team. As a Risk Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing the maturity and quality of our risk data, enabling the business to drive strategic decisions more effectively and provide accurate analysis and reporting around risk.
Key Responsibilities- Risk Data Management: Day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool to manage the Group's internal risks and controls.
- Risk Analytics: Risk analytics to support the quantification of risks for external reporting.
- Process Development: Development of process guides for technical work, including models and visualisation.
- Insurance Claim Management: Development of an insurance claim database to record and monitor claims in the business, including gathering information to submit to insurers/third parties.
- Underwriting Information: Consolidating information from various functions across the Group for the gathering of underwriting information to complete the insurers proposal form.
- Payment Process Management: Manage payment process from initial PO set up to payment for our insurance premiums in the UK, US, Italy and the Middle East.
- Technology Advancement: Proactive encouragement of the use of new technology across Risk and Internal Audit.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Development of relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including key data partners across IT, Digital and Finance.
- Team Contribution: Active contribution to the development, profile and strategic direction of the Internal Audit & Risk team.
- Data Analytics Experience: Experienced in performance of data analytics and supporting technology, including: Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, Databricks, SAP, AWS/Azure, PowerBi/Tableau.
- Data Literacy: Data literate, and numerate, including application of statistical principles.
- Team Experience: Experience as part of a delivery / development team and associated tools e.g., DevOps/Jira/Asana.
- Coding and Visualisation: Coding and/or visualisation qualification.
- Risk Management Experience: Risk management experience; and experience working with a third-party.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (verbal & written) essential.
