Catering Support Role

Holroyd Howe is one of the UK's leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We're seeking an experienced Catering Support Staff member to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating engaging and fun dining experiences for our students.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work well under pressure. As a Catering Support Staff member, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that our students receive exceptional dining experiences.

  • Maintaining kitchen and restaurant areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assisting in food preparation as required, including washing and cleaning all kitchen items efficiently
  • Operating heavy equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
  • Projecting a helpful attitude and exceeding customer expectations
  • Cooperating with team members to ensure efficient service
  • FOLLOWING HEALTH AND SAFETY, FOOD SAFETY, AND COSHH STANDARDS
  • ADHERING TO CLEANING SCHEDULES AND ATTENDING REQUIRED TRAINING
  • ACTING AS A POSITIVE AMBASSADOR FOR THE BUSINESS
  • ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH THE COMPANY'S SAFEGUARDING POLICIES

About the Role:

  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you'll also receive access to a range of benefits, including staff meals, uniform provision, and opportunities for professional development.
