About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Specialist to join our team at GSL Education. As a Support Specialist for ASD/ADHD students, you will be working with a new Designated Unit for Autistic Young People, providing a full-time holistic provision for 15 young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with ASD/ADHD and challenging behaviour
- Working with students' EHCPs and providing individualized support
- Collaborating with the educational and therapeutic team to provide a holistic provision
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with ASD/ADHD
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
