Raw Materials Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Raw Materials Coordinator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raw Material Specifications: Ensure that all raw material specifications are up-to-date and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Manage and maintain accurate documentation for raw materials, including completion of traces for audits and site schedules.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, providing data to inform resolution with suppliers.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with updated customer technical policies, current labeling standards, and regulatory changes impacting back-of-pack information.
  • Process Development: Follow relevant process development procedures, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant with internal and customer standards.
  • Internal Auditing: Assist with internal auditing and provide support to the Quality Zone Managers and Raw Materials and Specification Technologists.
Requirements:
  • Technical Background: Ideal candidate will come from a technical background, such as QA Auditor or Specifications Technologist.
  • Raw Materials Experience: Any experience in raw materials would be highly advantageous.
  • Non-Conformance Reporting: Familiarity with non-conformance reporting techniques.
  • Certifications: Level 2 Food Hygiene, Level 2 Health and Safety, and Basic HACCP awareness.
