This role demands a visionary leader who can design and implement effective outdoor learning strategies that promote environmental awareness, creativity, and problem-solving skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and leading nature-based learning activities that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create an inclusive, stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Fostering a lifelong love of the outdoors and promoting the numerous benefits of outdoor play and exploration in all weather conditions.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times by conducting thorough risk assessments and adhering to established safety procedures.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Plan, deliver, and lead engaging outdoor learning sessions that cater to diverse age groups and abilities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create an inclusive, stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Establish strong relationships with children, providing individualized support and guidance to foster their learning and emotional well-being.
- Maintain high professional standards by adhering to our nursery's policies and procedures.
